The United Abrasives SAIT Type 1 A36T is a high-speed cut-off wheel featuring fast cutting aluminum oxide grain. The hard bond makes it ideal for aggressive cutting on rough applications. Use this cut-off wheel on ferrous metals (iron, steel, welds, etc.), and stainless steel. This wheel features a Type 1 shape for square, burr-free cutting. It is externally reinforced with fiberglass layers to provide ultimate safety in a thin wheel. All United Abrasives wheels are internally reinforced with the highest quality fiberglass for maximum safety.
